
Douglass Park 21st Century after school enrichment program provides instructional and enrichment activities to 60 students in grades 2nd through 5th for 33 weeks during the academic school year. Services are offered on Mondays thru Thursdays from 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm. Meals and bus transportation are provided. In addition to offering academic instruction in Math and Reading, the program will also offer art, graphic design, and physical education activities. The summer component will provide 30 hours a week of summer activities on Mondays through Fridays form 9:00 am - 3:00 pm for 3 weeks. Other program activities will include field trips to museums, and local concerts to broaden and enrich student experiences. Twice a year the program will host a family celebration to recognize the participation of the students, and to showcase their academic growth and success.
