Mission
All students deserve quality education. We believe that we should spark a child’s interests and tap into the gifts and dreams of all students. Frequent exposure to technology and instructional tools are the gateway to fundamental success in our global society. In addition, our students should also experience a safe orderly environment that is conducive to learning every day.
Vision
Douglass Park’s vision is to create a learning environment that reaches the whole student.
Students will learn to explore, problem solve, think critically, and experience academic gains and success.
It is our belief that:
- All stakeholders are responsible for our student success;
- instruction should be data driven, differentiated, standards-based, and implemented with research-based strategies, curriculum, and programs;
- to achieve high academic standards, students require support from the home and community; and
- All students should experience a safe, healthy, caring, and secure instructional environment.
Principal’s Message:
The administration and staff are committed to providing a quality education to all students of Douglass Park Elementary. We are charged to promote academic achievement, support social-emotional learning, foster creativity, and positive self-esteem.
