Lee E. Bond. Jr., School Counselor
As the Douglass Park Elementary school counselor assigned to grades
3rd – 6th, I am committed to providing assistance for a positive learning environment that advocates considerate, responsible, and emotionally healthy behaviors. My focus is that each individual student will feel a part of the Central Community Cozy Bears, which promotes positive behavioral development.
The majority of my energy will be devoted to developing, implementing, and managing the school guidance programs at DPES by incorporating a holistic collaboration of the parent, staff, and community stake holders. I will work with students in individual, small group and classroom settings, to assist them with creating an academic plan for their education as they transition to middle school. When students leave Douglass Park Elementary they will be prepared for middle school with the mindset and behavioral process that will be essential for them to be successful academically, and also as future citizens after graduation.
